Pete Foley
Pete Foley co-founded ModelOp and serves as CEO.
With over 25 years of executive and entrepreneurial experience in enterprise software and a track record of successful business exits, Pete’s leadership gives ModelOp customers, partners and employees a high level of trust and confidence in the company and its future.
Prior to co-founding ModelOp, Pete held several chief executive roles, including CEO of RingCube Technologies, a desktop virtualization software solution provider acquired by Citrix in 2011; CEO of PortAuthority Technologies, a provider of data leak protection systems, from 2005 through its acquisition by Websense in 2007; and CEO of Infoblox (BLOX) from 2002 through 2005. In addition, Pete was the Executive Chairman of Graphite Systems, a low latency, flash-based big data appliance that was acquired by EMC, from 2012 to 2015.
Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.
Dave Trier
Dave Trier serves as Vice President of Product at ModelOp.
He is charged with defining and executing on strategy for ModelOp Center, paving the way for customers to overcome their ModelOps challenges and unlock the value of AI.
Prior to joining ModelOp, Dave held several technology and data leadership roles, VP of Advanced Analytics Services at Teradata, and Chief Technology Officer at Powered by Action. As a manager and consultant at Accenture, he led large-scale enterprise transformation projects and helped pioneer the space of ModelOps through various Accenture consultancy tools and solutions.
With over 20 years of technology and product management experience and multiple patents in his name, Dave helps ensure ModelOp continually delivers cutting edge innovation, helping enterprises implement and drive business transformation with ground-breaking technologies—from AI, big data, and cloud computing, to IoT solutions.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Notre Dame.
Jim Olsen
Jim Olsen serves as Chief Technology Officer at ModelOp
He leads the technical innovation and design of the ModelOp Center platform. Jim is also integral to advising ModelOp customer CIOs and CTOs on requirements to better support their IT operations as they execute on digital business strategies that often strain technology infrastructure.
Recently, Jim has taken his technology expertise to his off the grid cabin where he continues to innovate building low power computing networks powered entirely by solar power. Jim continues to design and develop our ModelOp software in the remote mountains of Colorado using specialized off grid computing systems and satellite internet, while conquering the challenges of a seasonal road closure during the winter, and living miles from the nearest neighbor. Prior to ModelOp, he was Director of Software Development at Think Big, a Teradata Company for the Americas consulting organization, and responsible for the design of their Analytics Ops framework. Jim has also held technical design and architect positions at Qualtrics, W.J. Bradley Company, and Convasant and was a Distinguished Engineer at Novell.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Psychology from Clarkson University and currently has two patents in his name.
Sheau-ming Ross
Sheau-ming serves as Chief Financial Officer at ModelOp
She is a strategic partner to the CEO and is responsible for the company’s financial operations, including financial planning, accounting, treasury, tax and investor relations. She also oversees the administrative functions for ModelOp, including human resources and IT.
Sheau-ming brings more than 25 years of finance, operations, corporate development, strategy, venture investing and investment banking experience to ModelOp. Prior to joining the company, she served as Chief Financial Officer at the Robert R. McCormick Foundation with financial oversight of $1.7B in assets and grant-making investments totaling over $80 million annually. Prior to McCormick Foundation, Sheau-ming was Chief Financial Officer at high-growth technology companies Mattersight Corporation (previously NASDAQ: MATR), EPAY Systems and Silver Chalice. From 2006-2011, she was Chief Financial Officer for WGN-TV, WGN Radio, WGN America and CLTV. She also previously worked in the strategy, corporate development and corporate venture capital groups at Tribune Company and in investment banking at Credit Suisse Group.
Sheau-ming holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Mark LeMonnier
Mark LeMonnier serves as Vice President of Software Engineering at ModelOp
He is responsible for building and leading a world-class engineering organization focused on solving customer challenges with scaling and governing enterprise AI. With Mark at the helm of ModelOp product development, ModelOp customers can expect high-quality and on-time releases of the software innovation they need to transform their businesses.
Prior to ModelOp, Mark worked at Ancestry.com from 2003 to 2020, climbing the ranks to Vice President of Engineering. There, he led the engineering team through three major growth phases of the company and its products.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Utah Valley University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Brigham Young University.
Jay Combs
Jay serves as the Vice President of Marketing at ModelOp
He partners with leadership to guide go-to-market strategy and is responsible for demand generation, product marketing, and communications.
Jay has 20 years of B2B, SaaS, and enterprise marketing and management experience at both startups and public companies. Prior to joining ModelOp he held marketing leadership roles at several AI and tech companies including Evisort, Eventbrite, and VMware in which he defined new product categories, founded and scaled marketing teams, and launched dozens of products. As Director of Product Marketing at Evisort, a leading provider of AI and contract management software, Jay gained unique insight into the AI governance and operational challenges facing global companies. He uses that experience to help inform and educate enterprises about model operations so they can securely, effectively, and ethically harness AI at scale.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from Colby College and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
